Mt. Batulao: Revisited "Two Point O"

Imahe
The enchanted Mt. Batulao Mt. Batulao, a popular mountain of Nasugbu, Batangas that is known to its copious peaks, serves as the group's mother mountain. HAFEEX PH's first trek happened last April 2013 in such remarkable mountain. It offers a grander view of a massif sitting at 811+ MASL. It is always earnest reminiscing the moments of our first climb; a time when we remembered ourselves free as birds flying high above the sky, free as the river running fast down into the ocean, and free as the wind travelling across borders. In short, Mt. Batulao thought us that we can live our lifetime as free as we could. That being remembered, we were stunned by the changes ensued in climbing the mountain. October 24, 2015 0730H : Our team meets up at Pasay rotonda and took bus bound to Nasugbu, Batangas with fare at around P120. By the way, Nasugbu bound buses already includes "Batulao" in their sign boards, which shows indication that the mountain is already renowned

Poem: Aiming a Mountain

At Mt. Tarak Ridge Aiming a Mountain by: Jason Arnoco | 101815 When stress becomes epidemic and slaying, Aim a mountain and be healed by its scenic offering. From powering fortitude of a heart at the jump off point, Up to the sentiment of victory at the summit’s roof. Take the first step that marks the entire walk, And brace oneself to find out the expected hope. The trajectory may be rough, dry, and muddy, But the happy feet will surely complete the journey. Trees standing tall in their roots, With grass setting stones, and rocks donating a helpful hold. Birds are chirping while wind is gusting, With fogs covering the vision, one will notice the unusual breathing. Half of the trail, feeling the need to refuel, Break and feast under the shades of shaped clouds and greeneries. Aroma of nourishment blending that of the nature, And make such remarkable socials in the series. Now that the top is being eyed, Boost the complete

Mt. Tarak Ridge: The Story of Perseverance and Camaraderie

“You don’t climb mountains without a team, You don’t climb mountains without being fit, You don’t climb mountains without being prepared And you don’t climb mountains without balancing the risks and rewards. And you never climb a mountain on accident – it has to be intentional.” -           Mark Udall As what the quote goes, climbing a mountain must have a purpose, a different purpose of diverse teams. We are once asked “Why do you climb?” I echoed the same question to myself on our intention why we are climbing. At first, it is because we feel fulfilled every time we reached the summit, we feel robust by conquering heat and height, and we feel hale and hearty through perspiration. But above all those intentions, it is now clear on our mind why we surmount summits. And we learned this by conquering Mt. Tarak, our first major climb after defeating eight mountain peaks. Our climb was scheduled just days before to make sure that it will materialize, of course equipped with relevant information from other blogs. This is as well the first time we are going to share our thoughts and experiences in our come what may adventures. Hope you find this blog helpful and relevant :)! 0530H - Rendezvous: We are 30 minutes behind from our scheduled time of meeting in Pasay Rotonda as we prepared for the contingencies in our logistics (the baon). Originally, only the three of us including Rommel and Kuya Jo who are the original HAFEEX buddies were scheduled to leave for the adventure but nice thing, coming with us is the first timer in trekking, Josua (my brother). We took MRT heading to Shaw Blvd station to avoid possible traffic and to compensate the time, kudos that MRT is in good operational con
